Company Profile

Engineered Farming Solutions (E-F-S) is a South African company, founded in 2001 in collaboration with Advanced Marketing Services Ltd (AMS), the United Kingdom’s top soft-fruit marketing company.

Our factory is situated in the southernmost region of South Africa in the relaxed little city of George, which nestles in the foothills of the picturesque Outeniqua mountains. A temperate climate and relatively high annual rainfall makes George an important agricultural center, supplying the country and abroad with fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, hops and even ostrich products.

The primary focus of business is the manufacturing and marketing of Spanish-design field tunnels so as to ensure that growers in South Africa and abroad enjoy the benefits of reliable crop protection and allied growing systems.

In our first year of trading, E-F-S sold over 40 Hectares of tunnels, mostly for export to England, Scotland and Portugal.  In 2003 the factory capabilities were expanded to an output of 400 Hectare of annual tunnel sales.

E-F-S is the best-positioned company to supply Spanish movable multi-span tunnels to growers in Australasia, Southern and Eastern Africa.
